Professionally, he is the COO & Head of Research at BNP Paribas and is based in Mumbai. Prior to this, Mr. Chakravarty was a Founder-Director at Thomas Weisel India. Mr. Chakravarty spent 14 years of his working life in the technology and financial services sectors. Mr. Chakravarty is an active investor in various start-ups and sits on the board of 3 start-ups in India. He is a voracious non-fiction reader, active cricketer, a history buff and is a keen follower of the randomness of the financial markets. Mr. Chakravarty received his MBA from the Wharton School and an undergraduate degree from BITS, Pilani.
