Praveen is a Founder-Director at Cross-Tab () and leads the group’s 200-member team based out of Bangalore. Cross-Tab has the vision of being a Top-25 player in the global market research industry by the year 2012. Praveen is passionate about research tool design, development and evangelism and has led various initiatives that push the boundaries around market research and consumer insight. He encourages his team towards becoming trusted advisors to clients through research rigor and out-of-the-box thinking. His team and work has driven the company’s growth manifested through three consecutive Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards and Global Outsourcing 100 Firm award in 2008, 2007 and 2006.
Praveen is a Director at Blueocean Market () a US-based market research agency specializing in 360-degree research for clients such as Microsoft, Wrigley, T-Mobile and Kraft.
Praveen is a Director at Informate Mobile Intelligence (), a company that offers India's first on-device mobile meter. The Informate Meter offers arguably the world’s most accurate metrics on mobile behaviour today, providing actual mobile usage data on a regular basis. The company is presently active in ICU (India, China & USA) with short-term plans of global leadership in the mobile data intelligence domain.

Borderless Access has the vision of being a Top 5 (worldwide) provider of panel access services in the next 3 years.
Praveen has over a decade’s experience of leading entrepreneurial ventures into success with Fortune 500 clients such as Microsoft, P&G, Cisco and Wal-Mart. Besides market research and mobile intelligence domains, Praveen has experience in the pharma and advertising domain, both as a professional and a successful business owner.
Praveen has a Bachelor and a Masters degree from BITS, Pilani (1989-1994) and a PGDM from IIM, Lucknow (1994-1996). Praveen is a Board Member of EO, the Entrepreneurs Organization’s Bangalore chapter and a speaker in the management academic circuit.
Praveen led his first entrepreneurial venture into early-stage funding with ICICI Ventures (in 2000) and since then has built up a strong network in the entrepreneurial, VC, PE and angel–investment community. He looks forward to being a part of Mumbai Angels with an intention of
