Mr Raj Yerasi

Raj Yerasi graduated from Harvard University in 1995 with an A.B. in Applied Mathematics/Economics. He worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan & Co. and subsequently as a long/short equity analyst at two hedge funds (SAB Capital and Och-Ziff Capital) in New York City. He moved to India and helped managed Sandstone Capital for the three year period ending March of 2008, during which time Sandstone was one of the best performing India-dedicated hedge funds. Sensing a bear market in the offing at the end of 2007, he took a break from money management to produce a critically acclaimed Hindi-language feature film called "Barah Aana" (starring Naseeruddin Shah), which was released in 2009. He currently is actively investing private funds in Indian and US-listed stocks as well as private equity opportunities.
