Satish Betadpur is a seasoned investor in multiple asset classes. He started his financial career at American Express in New York. He subsequently joined TIAA-CREF Investment Management in New York. At TIAA-CREF, in addition to his other roles, he helped the firm invest in high technology companies around the world. Also, he liaised with most VC and PE funds in the US and around the world to bring funds to fledgling companies. After relinquishing his role at TIAA-CREF in 2004 and returning to India, Satish has put on his entrepreneurial hat and has been involved in starting, funding, mentoring and running many companies such as Seventymm, IIR Group, Park Controls, Livemocha, Processware & Khambatta Securities. He has been on the board of many of these companies and has also been on the board of Private Equity firm, Frontline Strategy. Satish is Chartered Financial Analyst, obtaining his charter in 1996. He holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Computer Science form Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, Missouri. He also obtained a MBA in Finance & International Business from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Satish has conducted many seminars on Finance & Entrepreneurship around the world and has also taught at many Universities globally.
