Vivek Nathwani

In 2009 Vivek founded Veri Communications - a strategic corporate communications company. Veri assists corporates with their internal and external communications.� It offers a range of services from communications planning to execution and blends the skills of a management consultancy with the creative talent of a design agency to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions to clients within India and abroad.� The firm offers a unique blend of International credentials - founders have run successful businesses in Europe, the US and Asia, they have a track record with blue-chip multinational clients and an ethos of world-class service delivery.�
Vivek also brings over a decade of experience in the financial markets both in India and the US.� Since 2002, Vivek has been managing funds in the Indian stock market and has advised a couple of hedge funds.�
In 1998, Vivek co-founded Liquid Equity Capital (“LEC”) in Mumbai. LEC assisted early stage companies in an advisory capacity, providing a wide range of services, including assistance with business plans, development of company strategy, formation of management teams and private placements of equity.� Vivek also worked closely with the Chairman of the Industrial Finance Corporation of India (“IFCI” - the first development financial institutional in the country catering to the long-term finance needs of the industrial sector), providing management consultancy services to its venture arm.�
Prior to founding LEC, Vivek worked in corporate finance at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi in New York where he dealt with various large and middle market companies across a broad range of industries.� Vivek started his career in the Media & Telecom division at Chase in New York where he evaluated companies for potential corporate finance and merchant banking opportunities.�
Vivek received a BA in economics from Haverford College, Pennsylvania after completing his high schooling from Merchant Taylors school in London, England.
