Binoy is experienced in starting new businesses, developing and implementing their strategic and operating plans, and in obtaining necessary financing. His forte is on assisting companies in their current business and financing issues, corporate governance, negotiation, and litigation.
Binoy is an active investor. His investment experience spans many different industries including healthcare services, engineering, distribution and manufacturing .
Prior to starting UBR Capital Binoy was the Chief Operating Officer for BDK Engineering Industries an industry leader in flow technology. He spent 12 years in BDK helping the company grow from a $ 2 million turnover employing 120 people to a company worth more than $ 100 million employing more than 500 people. In late 2010 the company was successfully acquired by Weir Group UK. A US 1.3 billion conglomerate. Weir employs in the region of 9,000 people globally and is well established in all three of it’s chosen high growth markets: Minerals, Oil & Gas and Power. Operating in over 40 countries. Binoy was instrumental in helping Weir in their India Entry Strategy and led the team from strategy to acquisition.
A Bachelor of Science graduate from Bentley University Boston, USA. Binoy also participates in actively supporting The One Foundation India a charitable institution that supports the needs of underprivileged children.
